Privacy Notice

The short version

This site runs no analytics, no tracking cookies, and no third-party advertising scripts. It doesn't have user accounts. The only personal information it ever collects is what you type into the contact form, and that goes to one place: an email inbox our team reads.

The contact form ("Request a conversation")

When you submit the form on /for-professionals, your name, email address, and message are sent once to hello@musharakahengine.com via Cloudflare's Email Routing. That's it — the data is not written to a database, not retained by our servers after that email is sent, and not shared with any third party or used for marketing without asking you separately.

To stop the form from being spammed, your IP address is checked against a short-term rate limit (a small counter that resets every minute) before your message is accepted. That counter isn't logged or kept beyond enforcing that limit.

The calculator itself

The numbers you enter into the live calculator stay in your own browser (in its local storage) unless you explicitly do one of two things:

Click "Generate Verified Report" — this sends your current inputs to our server once, so it can compute the same result independently and confirm it matches. That request is processed to return the comparison and is not stored afterward.
Share a "Run this case" link — the scenario data lives entirely in the link itself (after the # in the URL), which browsers never send to a server at all. We only ever see it if you paste it somewhere we can read.

Otherwise, what you type into the calculator never leaves your browser.

Cloudflare, our hosting provider

This site is hosted and served through Cloudflare's edge network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection-level request logs (IP address, timing, path) as part of running that infrastructure — that's outside our control and governed by Cloudflare's own privacy practices, not ours. We don't separately access or export those logs for any purpose beyond the site's own rate-limiting described above.

What we don't claim

We're not going to tell you this page makes us formally certified under any specific privacy framework (GDPR, CCPA, or otherwise) — we haven't gone through that process, and saying so would be exactly the kind of unsupported claim we try not to make anywhere else on this site. What's above is an accurate description of what the product actually does today. If that changes, this page will change with it.
